Job Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in company systems and databases. This role ensures data integrity and supports operational efficiency by handling large volumes of information with precision and confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify data in various systems and databases.
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness before input.
  • Maintain organized records and files for easy retrieval.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors promptly.
  • Generate reports and assist with data analysis as needed.
  • Follow company data management policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate data processing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles.
  • Strong typing skills (minimum [X] WPM) and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with CRM systems or ERP software.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based environment with extended periods of computer use.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
